Riverlea has built up a strong reputation for a diverse range of products and great customer service. Our friendly staff have years of experience in the fresh produce industry and always aim to go the extra mile for the customer.
What do we do?
Riverlea is a leading supplier of fresh produce to the hospitality industry, work places and home deliveries, around the Lower North Island of New Zealand. We are constantly keeping our service fresh, with new ideas often inspired by our customer’s specific needs.
It’s our aim to always have the most competitive pricing, the freshest produce, the biggest range year round and the best service.
Growing strong for more than 30 years
Riverlea has a proud history of delivering fresh produce to New Zealand homes and
businesses for more than 30 years on our family-run farm in the Manawatu.
Initially we started out growing gourmet lettuce and herbs in our greenhouses. Since then we have grown a valuable network of suppliers and growers of other produce and products, ensuring you get access to the widest range of fruit and vegetables all year round.
Our dedication to service has been recognised with Riverlea being a finalist in Hospitality Awards “Supplier of the Year” since 2008.

Do you have a shop we can visit?
No. Sorry we only deliver around the Lower North Island.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Yes, when placing your order for someone else, simply change your delivery info to their name and address. This information will be stored by the website and when placing future orders you can select between the different addresses. Please mention that the order is a gift in the ‘order notes’ box.
How do I get my order delivered to a different place ?
When placing your order simply change your delivery information in the check out process to the new address where you want it to go.
How do I know if Riverlea has received my order ?Once we have received your order you will receive a confirmation email from us.
How can I change or cancel an order?If you need to change the delivery details or contents of your order kindly phone or email us. Changes are required 12 hours before the delivery date or you may risk that the order has already been processed and on it’s way to be delivered.
What happens if the recipient is not at home?Please write in the comments box a place to leave your order. If no such place is mentioned then our driver will put the order in a safe place away from direct sunlight where possible. We accept no liability of stolen goods if no one is home.
Can I specify when the order is delivered?
Yes, you can. In the Checkout Process under ‘Billing Details’ is a drop box ‘Preferred Delivery Date’. Select your preferred day or leave blank and we will deliver your order the next available delivery run.
Please note: Palmerston North & Feilding 7 days, Rest of Lower North Island Mon – Fri only.
Orders for more than 5 days in advance may be re-charged as prices may fluctuate.
Where can I enter special instructions?
Yes, you can. In the Checkout Process under ‘Your Order’ is a ‘Order notes’ box where you can write notes about your order ie: beware of dog, Ripe Avocado please, Greener Bananas please etc.

Riverlea has its own fleet mainly servicing the areas around Palmerston North but thanks to Aramex Couriers we are able to get our products around most of the Lower North Island. Check out our list of towns & cities to find if we can deliver to you.

Other Lower North Island Towns & Cities- Monday to Friday only.
No Rural Deliveries or PO Box Deliveries.
Do you own a restaurant or cafe etc? You may qualify for a Trade Account with discounts or even free freight depending on location and weekly spend. Click the link on our Contact Page and fill out our Trade Account Application Form. We will get back to you whether you qualify.
